Update in Ott Case

As you may recall, Grandview filed a lawsuit against the Ott Insurance Agency regarding our denial of coverage from the Illinois Union and Great American Insurance Company cases. This case was filed primarily so that in the event of a final denial of the insurance proceeds, Grandview can attempt to recover from Ott, since, as broker, he should be responsible for the ultimate denial.
You will find Judge Oing's Decision and Order on the matter of Ott's motion to dismiss our case here. As you will see, most importantly, this motion was denied and Ott's attorneys will now have to answer our complaint.
This is largely an administrative matter, and nothing in this decision was unexpected, we just wanted to make sure you stayed informed.
